To be honest, a couple of weeks ago I had this as my desktop background when our college was having an art-walk where local art was showcased in our downtown businesses. and this got almost as much comment as the art on display. That's how much I like this pic. People comment on this piece all the time, that they find it warm. I hear "cool picture from clients and customers, so I know it's good, not just to me, but the masses as well. I'd love to see a high def version up as a canvas print to see, it'd be a cool piece to see on a tapestry or even wrapped around a mug. I really dig this, because of the fluidity and the swirling that's vibrant and organic in earth tones. It has almost a fluidic pattern to it that, to a relaxed observer instills feelings of warmth. Lighting choice seems to flow through the center and offer great depth to the symmetry. Tremendous work, Satania. If I ever have anyone ask me where to get this as a print, I'd totally request this as a print and broker that sell, mostly because I'd like to see it when it came in. Who knows? Maybe when I get my taxes back I'll spring for it for myself.
I bring myself into believing that this is a fractal. Two paragraphs will follow, with the first highlighting why I disagree over its classification, and the second over why I agree.
Because of one simple reason: That you, kind sir, have created a work of art that is reminiscent of the Ancient Ionian calligraphy made famous by the Book of Kells - with each circular contraction leading towards the infinitely spiritual epicenter's outward movement, we find ourselves embracing our inner peace.
But I digress, If I presume it is a fractal, then it defines my concept of an Orbitrium; an orbit belying another orbit, each in concentric movement with each other - they continue to revolve, evolving into their distinct shapes and forms within which they become the entity at one with their makers and their being. Such a precarious arrangement is a rarity, but a beauty, and is truly, as "cold as gold" - its value can only be understood for so long and by so few.
