This fractal is made with #Apophysis 7x15C Based on a classic flower pattern (it's the same params i've used for 50 Shades of Grey) The texture is the main work on this kind of flames (in 2D) and here's i've used around 10 differents vars for texturing Vars like : Splits / Poincare / Rectangle / Radial_blur / Waves2 etc etc

This is a very beautiful piece. It resembles a flower but looking at it from a different mindset it reminds me of the eye of a storm, with the glowing center. The surrounding petals resembles turbulent clouds especially with the highlights. The gathering fractures strengthens the storm aura with thunder like cracks. I do not know why but this work when looked from the outer rim just keeps on bringing to mind gathering storm clouds. It has a dark edge to it which appeals to me.
I love the idea. A flower is a light and uncomplicated subject matter. But this flower has its complexities, its troubles, its storms and its strife. Yet it survives and thrives. Stunning.
Hello, SaTaNiA. This fractal is truly amazing, resembling a rose, with cracked black petals only highlighted by light from the center. The petals look like pieces of corrugated metal, broken up, with having more detail going to the center of the fractal. This also resembles a fan with cracked parts, and it goes blurred towards from the center, as I can notice. It also has a stripe theme to it, and it also resembles pieces of torn paper pieced together, like a rose. As what I can say, this is truly amazing, beautiful, inspirational, and has a dark theme attached to it. Keep up the good work.
