Did I ever mentioned - this is my fave bloom, you have designed, hope I did .... and yes I do have few things I need to add, maybe to make it even better then it is.
I do think the shape of the petals is very attractive and the delicate wavey texturing makes it translucent, almost swaying in the breeze. I would have dropped the flower centre a bit more down and rotated the image, hmm by 10-15deg so the largest petal in front falls closer to left bottom corner.
I do like the more monochromatic coloring here, but it also makes me wonder, how would this flower bloom with two or three colors here

Im picturing dark-wine red with orange and yellow highlites (the strings & the lights).
Ahhh...a girl can dream can't she .... maybe, there could be more then one version for this beauty
