When I joined deviantART 8 years ago in 2004, I was only a 16 young school boy loosing his time on Internet instead of thinking about his futur... and now 8 years later I'm here writing a news about what happened during my first month as a COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER !!!! 
I really still can't realize that is true ...

Spirit Day 2012"Ultimately, I want Spirit Day to make just one person feel little bit better about his or herself, to feel safe enough in their own skin and to be proud of who they are" - Brittany McMillan
In memory of the young LGBT people who lost their lives to suicide, Brittany encouraged her friends to wear purple on a day in October -- a day that came to be known as Spirit Day. Since then, GLAAD has helped turn Spirit Day into a global event that inspires millions of individuals, celebrities, TV personalities, media outlets, companies and schools to wear purple in a stand against bullying.
While Spirit Day does focus on the LGBT community, I believe that it's anti-bullying message is relevant to every community. It only get's better, if we take the pledge to make it so.
Practice compassion and understanding, and treat others how you would like to be treated and we can make a difference.

Spirit DaySpirit Day is coming!On Friday 19th October, the world goes purple in support of the fight against sexuality related bullying. Nichrysalis already posted a great article about Spirit Day and how you can participate

A dear friend of us, a dear member of deviantART and a fellow friend has just experienced the loss of his home in a fire.

His last years was really terrible for me between Heartaches and the loss of family members...

#129: From Newest Deviations! IAs you read before some entries ago, I joined a contest by accident.
The aim is to go to the Newest Deviations page and leave some comments. If you want to take part, there's still time!
I don't think I'll win, because I'm really chilling out and trying to leave some nice feedback, but I think I'll continue this way even after the end of the challenge.
Anyway, I was not very fond of the "Newest Deviations", because I've never found anything really exciting. Only ponies, webcam photos and other stuff like this. Not that I'm against ponies, don't get me wrong, but it's nice to see cool pieces sometimes. I used to go to the "Popular 8 hours" to see new cool things, but with this contest I discovered that the "Newest Deviations" can be interesting as well.
Maybe I've paid more attention, maybe the new interface selects in a different way, I don't know. But heck! I've found LOADS of hidden treasures!
