Traditional Tuesdays #52OMG OMFG OMFG! This is week fifty-two of this little article, and I can honestly say that I didn't think it would last this long. The night I started this feature, I was bored and just browsing around the Traditional Gallery. I was finding all kinds great artwork, that for one reason or another I couldn't/wouldn't give a DD. It could be because they had a DD recently, but mainly it was for a link to go back and see what they created next, and if they took it to the next level. Now it's more for artwork that I no longer have time to DD, I can't DD everything! I still find the article fun to do, and I'll keep doing it until it no longer is. So.... here is fifteen works of art that I thought you should see. I can't trust all of you all with anymore awesomeness, you might hurt yourself! Anyway, on with the show!

As the old year begins to fade into the sunset, it is customary to reflect on the passing year and make plans for the upcoming one.  Some do this in the form of resolutions, some people make action plans, some people just swing into the new year the same way they swung out of the old one :) Whatever way you intend to welcome in 2013, I hope you're surrounded by love and that you do it safely!
I've been reflecting on the year and like many, with some focus on the unimaginable events of the last few weeks. Specifically, the shooting in Newtown.  I know that it's "human nature" to want to find

Not So Traditional Tuesdays #4My plan is to keep the features fresh for me(and you) and maybe open a few eyes to all the different kinds of artwork that is available while browsing the deviantArt galleries. The things that make one piece of art great applies, for the most part, to other genres. A painter can learn how light and shadow fall from photography, photo-manipulators can learn about composition from a great Manga drawing, and literature can give you the inspiration to try something new or take your work to the next step. You may never try all art forms you see! You can however take what you learn from them and incorporate that into your own work. It could be the difference between stagnating and that breakthrough every artist wants to find!

The Traditional gallery is a vast storeroom of work that covers many mediums and genres. I've tried to show a diverse array of artwork, but I don't have room for them all. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
